Also known commonly as Mount Baker it is a strata volcano the last time it erupted and it can be seen from New Westminster BC and the beaches of White Rock even though it’s in Washington. I’ve been spending a lot of time in BC lately and I can’t help but want to paint this towering strata volcano over and over from many angles. It really stands out from all of the sprawling landscape. Sparkling sunset on snowy peaks, high tide and a few beautiful orcas sneaking through the waves.
